This service level agreement commits GameHostCloud to 99.9 percent monthly availability for game servers on the Pro, Ultra and Enterprise plans, which equals at most about 43 minutes of downtime in a thirty day month. Availability is measured per billing month against the reachability of the customer's game port and the management connection, using platform monitoring that probes every server continuously from several locations with the correct game protocol rather than a generic ping; an interruption counts only when it lasts at least five consecutive minutes. If the commitment is missed the customer receives a service credit calculated on that server's monthly fee: ten percent below 99.9 percent, twenty five percent below 99.5 percent, fifty percent below 99 percent and one hundred percent below 95 percent. Credits are added to the account balance, are the sole remedy, are never paid out in cash and must be claimed through a support ticket within thirty days of the end of the month concerned. Scheduled maintenance is announced at least forty eight hours in advance, is normally carried out between two and six in the morning local time and totals no more than four hours per month. Exclusions include customer configuration errors, third party mods, plugins and game publisher outages, breaches of the acceptable use policy, suspension for unpaid invoices, beta and trial servers, force majeure and faults in the customer's own network. Hobby, Starter and Standard plans run on the same monitored infrastructure without an uptime guarantee.
