Migrate from Another Host

Step 1: Download Your Data

From your current host:

  1. Download your world/save files via FTP/SFTP
  2. Download configuration files
  3. List all mods/plugins you're using
  4. Note your server settings

Step 2: Create Server on GameHostCloud

  1. Create a new server with the same game and specs
  2. Wait for deployment

Step 3: Upload Your Data

  1. Stop the new server
  2. Connect via FTP/SFTP
  3. Upload your world/save files to the correct directory
  4. Upload configuration files
  5. Install the same mods/plugins

Step 4: Configure and Test

  1. Verify server settings match your old server
  2. Start the server
  3. Test connection
  4. Check that world/saves loaded correctly
  5. Verify mods are working

Game-Specific Migration

Minecraft

  1. Download /world/, /plugins/ or /mods/, server.properties
  2. Upload to new server
  3. Match Java version and server software

Rust

  1. Download /server/identity/ (saves), /oxide/ (plugins)
  2. Upload to new server
  3. Keep the same map seed if wanted

Valheim

  1. Download /worlds_local/ and mod files
  2. Upload to new server
  3. Match mod versions
