Creating Your First Game Server
Step 1: Choose Your Game
Go to Create Server and select the game you want to host. Minecraft (Java & Bedrock), Rust, ARK, Valheim, Palworld, Satisfactory, Counter-Strike 2, Project Zomboid and Factorio are currently available for public ordering. Other catalog games are visible as Coming Soon while CEO admins and owners validate them internally.
Tips for choosing:
- Each game shows minimum RAM requirements
- Popular games are highlighted with a ⭐ badge
- Use the search bar to find your game quickly
Step 2: Select Platform Edition
Some games have multiple editions:
- Minecraft: Java Edition, Bedrock Edition, or Geyser (crossplay)
- Rust: PC edition. Rust Console Edition servers are only available through Double Eleven's official partners; we host the PC edition.
- Additional games show their edition options once they move from Coming Soon to public ordering.
> 💡 Crossplay note: Not all editions can play together. Check the crossplay info for each edition.
Step 3: Choose Server Location
Choose a region from the current locations page based on where your players are located. Region availability and details can change, so use the live page as the source of truth:
| Region | Premium cities | Standard cities | Latency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Europe | See the live locations page | See the live locations page | See the live locations page |
| North America | New York, Chicago, San Jose | Beauharnois | 80-180ms |
| South America | — | Santiago | 240-290ms |
| Asia-Pacific | See the live locations page | See the live locations page | See the live locations page |
| Africa | — | Rabat | 60-80ms |
Step 4: Configure Resources
- RAM: Choose based on your game and player count (see game-specific guides)
- Server Name: Give your server a memorable name
- Plan: Select your pricing tier (Starter, Pro, Ultra, Enterprise)
Step 5: Choose Billing Cycle
- Monthly: Full price, maximum flexibility
- Semi-Annual: See the pricing page for current billing options
- Annual: Annual billing may be cheaper; see the pricing page for current details
Step 6: Balance Check
Your account balance must cover the first billing period. If insufficient:
- Add funds via Dashboard → Billing → Add Balance
- Payment methods: Major credit and debit cards through Stripe Checkout; account balance top-ups are also available
Step 7: Confirm and Deploy
Review your configuration, confirm payment from your balance or card checkout, and your Minecraft or Rust server will enter provisioning. You'll receive connection details in your Dashboard when provisioning completes.
