What is a DDoS Attack?
A Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack floods your server with fake traffic, making it unreachable for legitimate players.

All GameHostCloud servers include DDoS protection, included on every plan at no extra cost.
Protection Features
- DDoS protection — DDoS protection is provided as part of the hosting service
- Per-IP Rate Limiting — Panel and API requests are rate-limited per IP to absorb abusive bursts
- Game-Port Firewalling — Only the ports your game needs are exposed
What Happens During an Attack?
- Volumetric traffic is scrubbed at the provider edge
- Known malicious IPs are dropped at the firewall
- Legitimate players continue playing
- Security dashboard reflects the per-node protection status
